A lot of the stuff that they said was speculative and that they didn't really mean to do in Fearless? Yeah, they meant to do those things and would have had the Summer of Rage not stopped them.

Currently we are seeing very predictable feedback on what we are doing. Having the perspective of having done this for a decade, I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change.

Short answer: no.

Kind of a shame really... all that money and effort and talent poured into that hot mess. It does appear that they've produced some very pretty gameplay elements. But no kind of remotely coherent framework yet, as far as I can see. With the scope and complexity and I don't think it's possible that they could ever integrate all their commitments into something that was.

I'm going to go ahead and say that they'll probably never be able to fulfill those promises, because they've made so many commitments to so many interlocking and complex projects that the co-ordination overhead means that it's literally impossible to integrate them all in the way that the fans have been lead to expect.
