I love how magic is somewhat... non-universal in this game.
I just fireballed a routing beastman general (apparently you don't even need to aim it) with a magic weapon I RNGed on and damn did it feel good.
Norsca confirmed pre-order race. Shitters get fucked, Skaven soon.
Thats a chaos mammoth
Will this fix the unit selection of Norsca for the Old World? The chariot/troll spam is rage inducing at times.
Most likely its going to be like the Bretonnia add on and expand the roster greatly so id hope so
Durr I'm retarded i thought this was for the 2nd game, not a DLC for TWWH1.
Free if I pre-order too...
EDIT: I've also realized this will probably drastically split up the Norsca factions. Have 8-10 of them instead of 2. Makes the Chaos campaigns more interesting by default.

Norsca will be in both games. Thers norsca settlements in the new world plus vamps orcs and other minor outposts
No way I'm pre-ordering shit, but if it's received well then I'm happy to dunk £7 to make the Chaos aligned factions and geography a bit less dull
I'll pre-order. After e first game, it's not like I won't get my money's worth and then some out of this.
If the quality of all the new factions is like Bretonnia this is an instant purchase just waiting on some lets plays
this pre-order comes with a Troll King
obviously going to buy, you'd have to be a silly cunt to not want a troll king.
TROLL KING?!?
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/norsca-army-roster/
Throgg the troll king is basically a massive troll that gives a leadership buff to monsters. so you can run an all monster army, with new monsters added (mammoth, frost wyrm, ice troll varient, werewolves[skinkin])
also they've included Fimir, which are basically spellcasting man-bear-cyclops. which no-one expected.
Sounds glorious.
Perfect fit for this forum then.
The roster looks really good and looking forward to this a lot. Hopefully it doesnt make them way OP in the campaign
psycho freak > BBC fleet
warhammer is one of those strategy games where i don't care about balance tbh, i like playing the 'good' races and hanging on by my fingernails against gods rampaging the land. it's when the imbalance is dumb and ruins the narrative that i'm not so keen (e.g wood elves steamrolling the entire map).
i've got such a nostalgia boner for high elves that i can't wait to play the poncey cunt campaign. before i ever owned a console or had played any computer game other than pacman/lemmings/elite i was given some GW high elves by a mate and they're my first and fondest nerd memories :3
