    Fanfest 2015: Ship and Module Balance

    Next up for module rebalance: MWDs, Afterburners, Shield Extenders, Armour Plates.

    Prediction: Oversized mods will be looked at.... but will stay in the game.

    Thoughts on the other announcements?

    Missile rebalance
    Missile TDs
    AF buffs
    T3d nerfs
    AT ship rebalance
    Super caps and caps in general ofc
    Battlecruiser warp speeds
    Rorqual stuff

    I like this; I've also been toying with the idea of baking MMJDs into the Combat Battlecruiser design (and maybe even into ABCs) possibly as part of breaking the relationship between BCs and links.

    I also wouldnt be surprised if they take a look at damps, after beating Serenity based on damp heavy set ups, we agreed that they are borderline OP.

    You realise you can do that now by using a t1 warp speed rig? It improves warp speed of a BC from 2.5 to 3.0 au/s. A cruisers warp speed is 3.0 au/s. =/

    The numbers in my head must have been bad then, i thought BCs go 2.25.

    They should roll back the entire buffer HP buff they did back in (2005?).

    Capitals could be a lot more interesting if they had a subsystem like t3 cruisers have. Allowing you to specialize in one field but be worse off in others and making room for a lot more setups, too many cookie cutter setups for capitals. Also heres hoping ccp keeps smaller alliances in mind when putting the nerf stick to supers.

    Yeah, its a nerf to the bc class (option wise, slight buff isk wise)

    A pure missile TD would be incredibly stupid. Fitting choices are good. Fitting roulette is not.

    Afterburners and microwarpdrives need a high-level examination, not just a balance pass. Actually, on-grid mobility in general needs an examination.
