m8 I was talking about laptimes.

I think I would have more fun getting halfway competitive with a manual clutch than shaving 0.2 seconds off a lap.
Poland treats me like shit and I hate them as a result of it
Except those slow you down. Vast majority of lfs wr times are with ac but whatever, this is the asseto corsa thread

Can Confirm G27 is great bang for buck.
Been playing this back to back with pCars extensively this weekend. Think this is actually more arcade than pCars (though not by much). Find it a lot easier to stay on the road in this. I do really like the dynamic track stuff. Enjoyable game.
Watched this earlier, this should be a reasonable rebuttal of pCars being arcade...

Sauber C9 is possibly the most crazy thing out there, 1000 hp with huge tyres and no electronics. No dull supercar stuff, its a totally insane car on 100% Boost (in AC you can modify Turbo Pressure from 1 to 100% via 1-0 on the KB).
Did a 39 in Jacksonville oval, going like 370.
I can't fucking nail the section between the two banked curves at speed. The rest of the track I can hit pretty much at the limit of grip, but every time I try to be fast through there I have an incident.

By diff do you mean difficulty? Custom. For hot laps I turn tire wear and fuel use off. ABS off, traction control Factory (which I believe is around 20% in the GT-R? looking at online leaderboards a lot of them seem to say 20% TC so I can only assume that's why), damage on (but obviously going off track = disqualified). Standard setup but with soft tires instead of medium. 30L of fuel. The current record in the GT-R is 6:35 so I think I should be able to bring my time down by at least 10sec, but every time I push hard I meet a barrier![]()

Couldnt get a lap together with the gt-r, i dont like the way its rear comes under braking.
I really prefer the tourist setup, it yields a time immediately, not after one lap. Did a 6;:47 with the P1, fucking crazy fast thing.
If you use "Hotlap" mode it starts you before the start line (coming into the series of corners at the end of the track). For the GTR you have to be pretty much dead straight when braking, especially as your speed comes down. It's also really easy to over-brake on it, I don't think I use more than 60% brake pressure at any point in the lap.
