Telltale signs of fetal alcohol syndrome on one of the backup singers. How fitting.
Don't need brakes if you keep flying.

The rubble passd the 1:100 exchange rate vs dollar, and then went back to 1:98 probably due to central bank intervention.
Trading on renminbi was supposed to make wonders to Russian currency.
"A government document reviewed by Reuters this month showed that Moscow had doubled its 2023 defence spending target to more than $100bn (£79bn), a third of all public expenditure."

In response to the collapsing value of the ruble (and inflation), the Russian Central Bank decides the full point hike in July wasn't enough. Today, they raised the rate 350 basis points to 12%.
Take that, JPOW.
The ruble recovered from 102/USD to 95/USD before settling at 98.
Oh now the propaganda heads are suffering with their German cars lol.
The UAF have taken Robotyne, and are punching further south. There is another line to get through, and after that: Tokmak.
As previously mentioned, they don't have to actually capture Tokmak to stop it being useful as a logistics nexus. Once they get within 15km or so, the rail route is effectively useless and the road is badly compromised. That doesn't completely cut off the land LoC with the Russian forces to the West, but it will severely constrict it.
Sooner or later, the Ukrainians are going to land a killing blow on the Kerch bridge. Once that happens, I think the situation will start to evolve rapidly. I suspect those "lol j/k not serious" incursions over the Dnipro will start turning into something rather more assertive, for a start.
I'm shocked:

After over 18 months of successfully evading the watchful eyes of Western authorities, sanctioned billionaire and Russia’s richest mogul, Andrey Melnichenko, has flicked on the transponders of his lavish $300 million Motoryacht A: https://luxurylaunches.com/transport...ansponders.php
Are unflagged ships considered pirate vessels? What goes dark doesn’t stay hidden forever! This is certainly true for the $300 million Motor Yacht A, owned by sanctioned Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko. This 387-footer re-emerged with its AIS activated after nearly 18 months and was recently spotted in the UAE. Its last recorded location was in the Maldives on 4th March 2022, from where it sailed to Ras al Khaimah, before making its way to Dubai. This enormous pleasure craft is now back in the spotlight and has updated its AIS with a new flag from Sierra Leone.
Left flagless for a year due to the sanctions on its owner and the Isle of Man deregistering the vessel, Motor Yacht A found itself in a nautical limbo. According to eSysman SuperYachts, this warship-inspired superyacht has been spotted sporadically, flying no flag—a situation as faulty as having its tracker turned off. The new flag state hasn’t been updated on the IMO registry as of yet.
