1.4 - Install the base Freelancer game from your CD or from an ISO file you can download HERE as a direct link or HERE as a torrent link (RECOMMENDED). Pre-Windows 10 users can install ISO files by using third party programs such as VIRTUAL CLONE DRIVE - Windows 10 users should be able to do this natively.

Well yeah, I never actually paid for Freelancer back in the day. But I'd buy it now if given the option.

It's still a damn good game. Even without that graphics mod.

Not sure if it's available in other countries too*), but Ubi currently runs a "Lunar sale" on its German store: https://store.ubi.com/de/lunar-sale

*) Trying to omit the Germany country code from the URL to figure that out, I get redirected there again thru IP geo-locating, I guess.

The latest Deus Ex is currently pretty heavily discounted (incl Season Pass).

I seem to remember that the main complaint was that it was pretty much cut for DLC. Did it ever get fleshed out to a full game worth buying?

Yes, but the DLC's never continued the story.
    They are just side stories.

Hitman GOTY edition around 10 quid. Worth a look tbh, especially at that price.

I was impressed, feel it should be in the Corporate-malfeasance-thread as an exception that proves the rule... and then their apparent explanation page throws a
An error occurred during a connection to register.ubisoft.com. Peer attempted old style (potentially vulnerable) handshake. Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSAFE_NEGOTIATION
Because they're terrible as staying modern w.r.t. SSL/TLS, and are redirecting to some registration subdomain...

Edit: their news article is actually here, that other link is to actually get the free download.

Yes? Their HQ is literally 6km away but somehow i doubt they donate to homeless shelters or anything equally non-prominent.
