Even with the sale, the game can't crack top 100 games most being played right now on steam per steamspy. It's concurrent number of players is comparable to DoW: Soulstorm released in 2008, if you were to add the other DoW expansions which are tracked separately, it would be a far less...

That's really unfortunate, but I can't say I'm surprised. The pre-release hype was way too much them chasing StarCraft 2/MOBAs/e-sports. While there are a few hardcore multiplayer fans for every title, it always made me wonder how many more RTS games chasing the MOBA unicorn have to fail until someone learns a lesson.
There was a statistic a while back that something like 60-70% of people who played StarCraft 2 never played a single multiplayer game. That should be telling them something right?
Most of them probably bought the game partly because StarCraft 1 has been such an e-sports legend for so long though.
I think you mis-read. 60-70% only played singleplayer.

They bought it because the story in SC 1 was so amazeballs.
No, you mis-read me StarCraft 1 has legendary status among many gamers. Sure, it's story and universe was nice, but it is mainly known for it's awesome multiplayer, decades of support and for being the first real e-sports game. Without those it would have been a game on GOG with good reviews that nobody plays any more and people don't often think about any more. So it being an e-sport game heavily drove sales of the 2nd installment IMHO.

Most of them bought it for the multiplayer.

Statistics show that 60-70% never played multiplayer.

    That doesn't compute.

    Please explain.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is dirt cheap (~$5) in Humble Bundle.

I saw Hels has it on wishlist, so...

Anyone want Verdun? I have spare Steam key.

    Ask Calgus for the source.

Tyrehl, your experience is wrong. I never played SC2 multiplayer.

I've explained it twice already, so I'm not sure that's going to help. But for you I'll try it another time:

multiplayer == marketing == more sales, whether those sales multiplayer themselves or not. I.e. your friend who multiplayers telling you you should buy it because it's such an awesome game and it has singleplayer too to get started.

Or in other words, people rarely buy something for how they end up using it, they buy into an idea that they may or may not end up following through on.

It was from an interview with Sigaty, the lead dev. Where co-op and/or just single player outweighed number of multiplayer players. For the life of me I can't find the interview, so feel free to take it with a grain of salt.

Age of Wonders III complete (incl its 2 addons) in Paradox store for 12,5.

I think the main game was sold cheap in plenty of steam sales by now, but i never saw its 2 expansions discounted for more than 50%.

Question: why are the games here so cheap?
    https://www.cdkeys.com/
I legit want to know because I've bought all Battlefield gsmes here so far and loads of other ones aswell and have never had a problem. Should I feel bad?
