SMB is imo quite YMMV (you really gotta love your Nintendo Hard platforming to appreciate it and I think I'll invest in a proper gamepad before finishing it as I found it to be a lot more enjoyable when I tried it with one from a friend when he was over for some LAN shenanigans and it felt a lot better).

Bastion is exquisitely awesome and if you don't like it you are a terrible human being.

If you didn't get it before, get it now. Game is very much worth it, from DLC just get the Season Pass pack to start off.

Game is probably the funniest one I've ever played, it's absolutely insane how much pop culture is referenced/parodied in it. Best of all it doesn't take itself seriously with the zany action and weaponry.

Still lolling so hard at the Talladega Nights mission.

Any reason to not get it for $5?

God damn, 3 of the games in the daily deals aren't available in my region.
Some call me Shatoon, bringer of corn. Others call me Mickey Nine, the dream weaver. Some call me Photoshop. Others call me Trenu, the boiler...

Only reason would be if you would rather have the "definitive version" (i.e. Rebellion). Differences are not that massive between the versions and the game is certainly "worth" $5 (i.e. buybuybuy).

This. While you apparently can go offline mode after installing I thought the UPlay rubbish was entirely removed as it was nowhere mentioned on the Store page that there is a third party online activation needed (as it usually does).

Fake edit: It seems they re-added the mention of UPlay as 3rd Party DRM, after some guys complained on the forum and opened a support ticket about it. It definitely was not there when it was on sale, though.

Seriously considering demanding a refund as I categorically refuse to use/sign up for this UPlay faggotry and I went by the non-mention of it on the store page (which is usually accurate when it comes to 3rd party online activation and other DRM schemes) instead of checking the forums (because I figured Ubi would have removed it entirely after the launch always-on outrage).
Update: Got a refund because fuck UPlay.

Only in the form of Steam Wallet monies despite being confident that with German/EU law I'd be entitled to a proper refund (the Store page was misleading in omitting the third party activation and besides that the right to annul contracts made online within 14 days should apply), but I'm gonna use it up anyway so I accepted it because :effort: for three EUR and change.

Thinking of getting it, iirc correctly I believe I read that it was pretty buggy at release but that they promised to keep improving it. Is that right? Something to do with having to release it before it was ready due to funding perhaps?

Actually Im pretty sure I read about it at RPS, brb.

    Wot RPS thought.

Glitches on release apparently largely sorted.

    Hmmm tempting.

Can confirm that the devs are releasing an update every week since release. Still no multiplayer tho, which was scheduled for the 10th of this month. For 7bucks def worth it!

Interesting, Bulletstorm is on Steam? I had to put up with GFWL when I bought it some time ago.

Pretty sure you still have to install it with Steam, just like in GTA IV, Fallout 3 etc...

FO3's was only if you wanted achievements. Bethesda was smart with NV and not requiring that shit.

ALso Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines on a flash sale for 4:30 more hours

    http://store.steampowered.com/app/2600/

75% off, $4.99 USD. No reason to not have this game if you don't already.

Quoting this. Redownloaded today, because the modders patch had 5 updates since last I played.
