Has anyone pre-purchased Dungeon Siege 3? 1+2 were the most amazing games ever and I have fond memories of them May Pre-purchase simply to get 1+2 on Steam and not have to keep finding the disks.

Bloodbowls ok tho only played it for an hour so far. old school turn based stuff as opposed to anything quicker, would spend £30 on it, at reduced price its worth a look tbh.

Blood Bowl is a pretty faithful adaptation of the board game, which is one of the better GW tabletop rule systems. I bought it twice (regular and legendary) and I consider it money well spent.

Portal 2's got a 10% discount if you prepurchase!

Seriously though why do we need a steam sale thread when you can just look at steam?

BloodBowl Legendary Edition is ok... the game load times are a bit annoying, as are the cutaways that jarr hideously (no, I don't want a panning shot of my KO box, everytime someone scores a touchdown). There's also one or two game mechanics, but I think they've been fixed by now.

Worth the £7, not £30. It uses SecuROM as well, with limited activations.

DS3, yup, pre-ordered and got DS1+2. DS1 is certainly showing its age; but there's a decent modding community out there as well (There's Ultima VI, running on DS2 engine). Given that Steam is selling each for £30, you're practically making money by pre-ordering.

Not all people have the update window thingy on or log into steam every day though.

If it wasn't for the DLC removing free roaming features, it would've gone into my top 5 games of all time. The story owns.

    Borderlands 75% off

Buy it now, the dlc's in this game are also very good and not just fluff.

Multiplayer on that game is ace although needs somebody to host as there are no dedicated servers.

also if you buy the GOTY edition you get Duke Nukem first access club membership so a demo of the game if/when/maybe it actually nears release and every dlc included with it for 2.50 more than the base borderlands package.
