If you liked DoW II i d say you ll like Retribution too.

    Its a standalone expansion btw.

The campaign is shorter then DoW IIs. But you can play it with all races for once. (the only letdown is that the campaign is essentially the same for every race)

Have no DLCs for it, nor did any retribution multiplayer, but for 5,- i d say you cant do any wrong if you like the DoW II Franchise.

P.S.: looking at the new offers .... WTT my Dishonored for your Sins of a Solar Empire - Rebellion ! ;D

That's correct, it is standalone. I think they both were actually, but you needed vanilla to use Space Marines in Chaos Rising multiplayer or something (I stay away from RTS/RTT multiplayer so as not to embarrass myself).

Buying Wargame Airland Battle. Or should I buy the pack with EE? Don't see much of a difference for it to bother with it.

Skyrim get awfully stale really quick as you realize how horrible the AI is and how utterly repetitive the world is. Yes, it's a huge sandbox but then again you only get one cake mold to play with. Still think that morrowind was the height of the elder scrolls saga (even replayed it few months ago).

From what I gather the trials dlc is only worth it if you like endless grind for score attack stuff, the knife of dunwall is first part of dlc story, and so I'm waiting till the second part is out, rest of the dlc is just preorder-pay-to-win type stuff where you get more stuff at the start of the game and thus utter waste of money (the game is way too easy even without them, even when going with hardest difficulty and not getting any of the supernatural stuff at all).

Re: Skyrim. I am playing Just Cause 2 right now, is enough open world for me for now. Will hold off Skyrim for this summer.
No one can tell me if Wargame European Escalation is worth buying in a pack with Airland Battle or not?

Bought Reus, it's pretty nice if you're into fairly peaceful village building.

Just an FYI but my bank just called me after they flagged a fraudulent transaction on the card I have linked to my steam account. Transaction info came up in the amount of #5.03* for a company called steamgames UK, not STEAMPOWERED out of Washington USA like it normally would be. I've made 3 purchases so far this sale & none of them were for that amount & they all cleared already.

Just a heads up to keep an eye out.

    * I have no idea what the alt code is for pounds symbol

I think that'd be a bad idea. Eventually Quackbot will go Skynet on us.

Please don't give quackers the cold war military sim (kinda maybe). Don't want him getting ideas. EE is just ALB -jets and some units don't bother with it.

Nobody plays EE anymore, which is a shame as it has much slower pacing and you have to be more thoughtful and conservative with your units.

Airland battle is still pretty good though
