PPL on another board are ranting about the monetisation on release. Something like it's gonna be a full price game with subscription but with an added item shop with P2W features?

All that is known about the item shop is that it's going to sell clothing options and pets. It's the same model that Blizzard's been doing for years.

For what it's worth, Funcom basically implemented pay-to-win in anarchy online a couple years back. I doubt they will for secret world until it gets to be dying like AO is.

I'm gonna give it a chance. It should be a game for me since I automatically hate any game that uses character classes and levels and this game got none of that. Also a bonus, it doesn't resemble wow or any of its 500 clones.

The only remotely good experience in the twenty minutes i have seen is the NPC monologue. Not that it's well written or something, it's just that everything else is absolute shit.
