I guess we all have been spoilt rotten by the SpaceX launch coverage as the SLS launch was rather pants to watch after 30 seconds into flight.

There's a lot of space in space
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

It's big. Really Big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is.

oh wow, I knew they'd captured sprites recently, but that one, showing the hole it's punched through the upper atmosphere, is mind-blowing.

JWST found early galaxy albeit small ones formed only 200m years after the big bang. It's the same time problem as with early super massive black holes, it shouldn't be formed with our current models after such a short time.
The big bang date is rather good confirmed because of cosmic microwave background so you can't just move the date.
Does a population have informed consent when that population is not taught the inner workings of its monetary system, and then is drawn, all unknowing, into economic adventures?

Not sure if it belongs here, but it's kinda spacey?!?

    Regardless, I laughed!

It isn't. CMB is one of the mainstream methods to date the universe, but there are competing theories and data that casts some doubt on it. Here's a nice video about it I watched recently:

That's about the expansion rate H0 although you derive the age of the Universe from it for my case it really doesn't matter. If the Universe is 13,81 ± 0,04 (best guess so far) or 13.7 or 13.5 makes no difference for the 2 problems i mentioned, still with our current models of galaxy building and supermassive black holes, they should not exist at this date.

If i had to bet i would bet on CMB data, without getting into detail but the video described only one problem with measuring Cepheids or SN1a, but there're more problems especially with SN1a. There's a lot of controversy about current calculations of SN1a, one major thing how much metal the progenitor star had and how much impact/difference that would make on a SN1a.

German Wiki, the english one does not have this.
