I can't remember the details, but essentially we were menacing star fraction allies' assets in lowsec. we knocked over a few pocos belonging to some guy called tony, and jade lept to his defence.

We had been consistently beating jade +allies fleets with Tigercats - our 1400mm nano tornados - and had racked up dozens of kills for very few losses with a handful of us against much larger fleets. They had tried to counter us a number of times and failed fairly conclusively due in part to our agents, and in part to them being fucking awful.

Around the same time GOD SQUAD had decced both jade's lot and us, but since they never left rens undock we didn't see much of them. Somehow jade convinced them to join forces with star fraction for a POS coming out of reinforced (?? it get a bit hazy, cant remember the exact reason for the fight.

Uptil this point Kai86 (leader and chief retard of GODSQUAD) had been telling anybody who would listen about his super alts, his big 0.0 alliance alts, his PL alts, his multitude of batphones, how he was going to roll in with vindicators and rape our families to death IRL. all that good stuff. They kept tellign jade that just the sight of them i local would mean there was no way we'd engage - after all, we'd not come to rens to fight them? clearly we were scared.

jade brought rubbishy ISKWAR thoraxes, GODSQUAD brought their neutral reppers (k:d matter m8 ) and we brought the tigercats again.

and demolished Jade's fleet.

again.

Apparently as it became apparent that a) they were not near enough a gate to deagress and run away, and b) we were killing them, Kai86 went ballistic on comms. Fucking proper mental breakdown, neck bulging, spittle flying angry, He accused Jade of spying and was telling them that he was going to destroy them and how there was nowhere safe in space that the could go, how they were the top PVP alliance in the game and his PL alts would kill jade and he was going to wardec them forever. Serious stuff.

In the end they left for rens (2 jumps away) vowing to take their revenge, parked on the undock and have been there ever since.

n1 GODSQUAD.

Ironically that's more or less completely how it happened.

By way of explanation for the thoraxes ... everything that we brought previously had been demolished by the tornadoes (up to and including battleships) (we being SF and our heroic allies Obsidian) - Godsquad said they wanted Obsidian to bring armour battleships to force a decisive engagement in open space that they wanted to hotdrop with their PL alts - we told them it wasn't going to happen that way because the only way FEARLESS would upship is if there was something they could kill by upshipping. Godsquad arrived with its reppers - Obsidian with a mixed fleet.

SF skirmished with a bunch of cheap ass thoraxes trying to get points on tornados using a covert probe ship to provide warp-ins (reasoning being that if they got alpha'ed it wouldn't matter much and if they got points then we get kill more) we were hoping that FEARLESS would get mad and put a battleship fleet or something into play but no dice.

In the end I think we were the only ones who lost much and God Squad guy went incoherently mad on coms cursing our lineage and tactics and "girlish" t1 cruisers and immediately wardecced us for not following his game plan.

Coda to the story and ironic ending ... was a few days later without God Squad's "support" we had upshipped to identikit Tornados stolen from FEARLESS and Obsidian had deployed Bhaalgorns and Armour BS + guardians for a pitched battle on the FEARLESS bait pos. FEARLESS deployed abaddons and archons and there was this ridiculous hour long stand off with us not being able to break anyone's tank and FEARLESS just defending.

Then just when Obsidian thought they were finally getting an Archon capped out and webbed beyond shields a cyno goes up and PL motherships arrived and murdered some poor unfortunate on our side and everybody else said fuck it and went home.

Well to be honest, I couldn't personally know what the levels were because I was doing the tornado fleet - shame really if we were nowhere close. But yep we can certainly agree Kai86 is a loon

God Squad dec'd Rote once. We obliged meeting them in lowsec. They retracted almost immediately. Classy gents, I recall their smack was particularly well-worded and coherent in local, but mysteriously they fell silent after losing most of their ships and pods.
