I think it's about game development rumours, like "CCP are going to allow rookie ships to be bubble immune and fit covops cloaks" type threads in "General Discussion", rather than ingame political rumours.

It's still a PR problem, not a design problem, but CCP has been running a game for this long and still fails at community management. With admitted goons at the helm it can only get worse (let's be honest, the SA community is more or less affirmed to trolling, and people who originate from there and are eventually given power to affect it are going to influence their new position in the same way they got to a position in the original community, by being just-a-bit-more-believable than the "usual trolls")

Quite a large number of the devs in the gamedesign team are ex-goonswarm. Soundwave for example was a goonswarm director for many years. Guard was too.

a fair amount of the dev staff were once players, so it makes sense that the big alliances would be represented.

would be marginally interested in breakdown of devs by prior eve allegiance. only marginally though, because it would be essentially meaningless.

Not entirely sure if this is the right place, anyway, someone showed a thing to me, it would appear to be CCP's website for their redone Chinese server. It has an odd movie and set of images on it, possibly the "EVE is Real" thing reworked for a Chinese audience.

I don't speak Chinese, so have no idea what any of the text reads, but maybe some other FHC'ers do, and can read the captions and explain such mysteries as why "Eris" is a blonde white girl? and why she is apparently Amarr, why "Athene" is Chinese and Gallente, and other such things.
