    This, in itself, is consequential.

Wonder if anything significant will come from a Republican senate, or if it will just mean deadlock continues another two years as the presidential veto can keep most Republican efforts in check. Might give O more reason to compromise with Congress, but not sure how that would play out.

    EDIT:Crap formatting, sorry:

      Spoiler:

Voter Interest At Record Low For Midterm Elections

Though political parties spent an estimated $4 billion to sway voters ahead of todays midterm elections, surveys show that voter interest is at a record low, with many registered voters reporting being cynical and negative about the future of the government. What do you think?

If only theyd spent $5 billion, maybe Id be interested.

Im honestly surprised the constant bombardment of attack ads from both sides hasnt gotten people excited about politics.

On the plus side, a cynical and extremely negative electorate is a good sign that people are in touch with the government.

The best part about this is that I was in a waiting room and Rachel Maddow was on and being all smug smug about Colorado ALWAYS being a blue state when the GOP ALWAYS thinks it's gonna be red.

    Eat your crow.
