Thermonuclear Banana Split - A not-really-weekly Eclipse Phase campaign journal
According to Posobiec the translator at the meeting, one that the lawyer almost always uses, is a Russian translator for the FBI.
And for the fun part; supposedly the were already tapping Manafort's mobile phone at the time despite not having a FISA warrent. This meeting was the evidence they needed to get that warrant, so there's some parallel construction going on.

The climax of Alex Jones' rant in this one is awesome to watch.

It seems most likely that the trump campaign people in that meeting didn't know who half the people they were meeting were.
They didn't know the name of the lawyer before the meeting, or who she was.
They didn't know the translator was a former russian officer who was working for the FBI and/or an ex-state department contractor.
They didn't know who the lobbyist was.
It seems Kushner was not introduced to the others at the meeting, only the lawyer.

Trump and co are uninformed badly organised halfwits.
agreed.
TIL you need a private investigator to know who you're talking to, their name, and to introduce yourself. good stuff.
When I meet a person for the first time I always instantly know if they're secretly working for the FBI or FSB. It is a psychic skill we all possess.

because new season is coming
when you meet a lawyer do you know his name?
when you meet a lawyer does he know you name?
do you know the name of people you arrange a meeting with?
stop being a silly cunt. though i suppose if you've never set up a business meeting that might explain you thinking it's the same as meeting a random person in a random room.
They should have known exactly who they were meeting with.
They should have known the exact purpose of the meeting.
These are not unreasonable burdens on someone in their position in a U.S. Presidential Campaign.
That's why campaigns have staffers galore, to do grunt work like "research these people who want to meet us" before hand.
It speaks to either a gross naivety in how the political campaign game works, or knowing collusion. One or the other.
The ignore user feature is the greatest single asset this forum offers. Use it well.
