Why is fluoride added to the water in the USA and not in EU countries? Apparently they stopped in the 70s in NL/DE for example

Note I'm talking about drinking water, not fluoride in toothpaste.

Out of a population of about three-quarters of a billion, under 14 million people (approximately a mere 2%) in Europe receive artificially-fluoridated water. Those people are in the UK (5,797,000), Republic of Ireland (3,250,000), Spain (4,250,000), and Serbia (300,000).
In the UK it's added to the water supply in poorer areas.

      Spoiler:
    To make them more docile

EDIT: Srs; an aquaintance of mine is involved in a study tracking dental health of newborns after they turned on the fluoride supply to half the county a few years ago. Apparently it's the only place in the country they can do a comparison because the local health trust stradles fluoridated and non fluoridated areas.
What, has this not been studied after like 60 years of this practice?
I guess it will have been. But reread the post for more reasons.

Wow, republicans must feel really scared and insecure all of the time if they think their current level of military might is insufficient

Well I guess Fox are just barely connected enough to the free press that they won't throw their mates under the bus

Kinda shows how off the wall crazy Trump's treatment of the press is

It's like a giant filter, with only the few sane people remaining while the rest that are herping and derping fall through into the quagmire of shit.

There has, in US history since the US civil war, not been as much contentiousness as there is now. Trump is sowing the seeds of polarisation and xenophobia on a scale not seen since 2001, and back then it was not aimed at all foreigners. The irony of the US being a country of immigrants having missed just about everyone there.

One thing Trump is doing that no other president has been able to do on such a scale is to get people from vastly different backgrounds and walks of life together to protest his insanity. The town hall meetings are rarely ever reported, but now that they are all going nuts demanding of their congressman wtf is going on with Trump, all those news channels that Trump is banning are sure to report on that in detail. Trump has made sure that the media will hound him every minute of every day and be on the watch for the slightest mishaps that he makes.

That said, all Trump has to do is get some blue collar workforce recovery in the US and he'll still be really popular.

With the blatant lying from the Trump administration, the muslim ban debacle, and now the press bans; how is this nutter not up for impeachment yet?

Can you imagine the response from the administration if he were to be impeached, but it wasn't successful?

If Obama wasn't impeached for doing those things, why should Trump?

He isn't going to be impeached. A snippet of why is found in here. We're going to have to enjoy the ride.

With regards to impeachment, what does it actually take? Do you actually have to be a criminal? Or is it enough to just be shit. Or can even a competent president get impeached if he gets enough senate/house detractors?

He won't though, because republicans are about as capable at economics and good governance as Trump is smart and humble.
