So U.S. Government shutdown (which isn't really a shutdown, but that's another topic) appears imminent.

In a reverse of the last shutdown, Democrats plan to vote no (i.e. vote to shutdown) if their preferred legislation is not included in the continuing resolution (DACA protections/amnesty). Last time it was Republicans who voted no when they wanted something.

Open Question: Who's fault is this shutdown if it comes to pass?

Don't feel too bad. The American republic isn't particularly democratic, you can only elect the cunts they put on the ballot.

Not exactly true. The 1.3 million uniformed servicemembers are exempt from being furloughed. Vets getting their medical benefits is another story.

The correct answer is always "Obama".

It probably won't. They'll all get paid/reimbursed soon as the shutdown ends.

Every single shutdown we've had (and there has been quite a few) part of the CR backpays everyone who worked (and didn't work) for the period of the shutdown.

These things follow a pretty consistent script.

Sadly, the real solution is going back to normal order when it comes to budgets and appropriations, but it seems like that's never going to actually happen.

You should really stop, you're an embarrassment of weak trolling.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with President Obama ffs.

P.S. you can't even troll right, it's "correct answer", not "correct question" you doofus.
