Wrote a quick launcher that forces the client language to english. This will allow you to use the unmodified blue.dll/.stuff files and will also make the server provide some data in english (mission descriptions, maybe more?). Should work with modified .dll/.stuff as well.
    http://killboard.nl/china/ChinaLauncher.exe
    http://killboard.nl/china/english.dll

Just put the .exe and .dll together in any folder. On the first launch it will give you a file browser dialog for bin/ExeFile.exe, and then creates ChinaLauncher.ini to store the command line.

You still need the modified bulkdata for english names though (the ones that aren't requested from the server).

I think I have the dumb... my client is still weird letters...

    so step by step:
    install client
    copy/paste chinalauncher.exe in folder ceve\bin
    copy/paste english.dll in same folder
    launch chinalauncher.exe
choose eve.exe that appears in window
    launch chinalauncher.exe again...?

all I get is that the eve starts but I get back to desktop and windows is asking for language settings (got German XP)

The launcher exe and the dll file can be in any folder, just has to be the same one. You also need the two .cache files. Download them and put into your ceve bulkdata folder. Use the launcher, point it to the eve executable in the ceve bin folder. It should then launch eve with most things in english.

That's the old way, and mission descriptions for example won't be english.

You need to select bin/ExeFile.exe, not eve.exe

my only problem here is that when i use the launcher my client lags to fuck. Is there any way to choose which server string the launcher uses?
