I can't stand every time this shit happens (and this happens a lot). The fucking retard tried a snipe bullshit move at T7 and got his entire wing strafed in one go. No scouting, no air cover, no nothing. I can't wait for strafing and manual dro\pping to be removed because somehow these imbeciles keep failing up the tree and ruin the match for everyone, so then the good/unicums just dominate the match.

It's actually quite well known that GZ Test I is the bees knees OP-AF ship which will likely never make it out of the testing phase. Been one shotted by it several times no matter the ship, wasn't even mad.

However you must understand one thing - if a CV player wants you ded, you will die. It happened in my full AA spec Mino, it happened in my full AA spec Missouri (granted VS a tier X CV, not a tier VIII), it happened in my full AA spec Montana. They will lose multiple aircraft in the process (here is where hangar size comes into mind, the higher tiers have retarded amounts of planes due to retarded strong AA, at tier 6 I struggle after I lose even a couple planes).

CV need a rework, that's for sure, however I played without manual drops and strafing and it's shit. Manual drops and strafing differentiate between CV players and are gud things and make it possible to survive and be useful with only one wing of fighters VS three wings and so on. You don't have to be a unicum to strafe well or to manual drop lethally. That CV in the screenshot is a unicum potato.

See that's the funky thing. I'm willing to bet, that none of the targets in those videos actually were AA-specced. Much worse, none used DFAA, obviously. That is the other side of the coin: For some reason you either get stupid AA or no AA, compared to either getting a devastating strike or next to no damage. CVs and AA seem to only consist of extremes and that's the real issue there.

Which GZ Test I version? The most recent one, 1-0-3? I don't get why, but for some reason I got drastically better results from that variant, compared to the recent GZ-Test 2, despite the later having the much more predictable torpedo damage and a much larger single dive squad. The guys that got really mad at me erasing them were, interestingly enough, always the guys that got citadelled by other ships during my drops. They ascribed absurd amounts of damage to my strike, while I often only got a couple thousand damage done, plus the kill.
On a personal note, I felt I had much less of an impact on the outcome of the battle in my 1-0-3 GZ, compared to the GZ T2.

cvs the ultimate ship not muh BB. Big enough CV should be able to crap on several BBs, I dont think that's unfair, they've gone as far as to put large aircraft carriers in game so that's an admission itself that the devs recognise the power of those ships

That's just CBT and early open beta all over again. Literally it was ball up around the CV and protect it and yourself at all costs. Only ship I could ever survive at full CV strike was in a Sims and even then it was touch and go if they were extremely good.

The deepwater torps do make it significantly worse fighting other destroyers though. Haven't tried the radar yet.
