The Ankers arrived. They came with a manual, which was useful for reminding me to pull the little strips off so the buds would charge. Then it was a question of pressing the buttons randomly a couple of times and they did indeed just work. Sound quality exceeded my expectations: certainly good enough for my abraded eardrums. Good buy for £24.
