Now if only they made the flight model somehow realistic, but for such a game I have no hopes. WoT was fun for a while but it gets boring pretty quick because you dont have that much control over your vehicle and therefore not much room for personal improvement, as controlling your tank is so easy that you master it in a couple of days. After that its mostly positioning and team composition. Will still keep an eye open for that game as I love planes.

Also, some of you might be interested in checking out Il2 Cliffs of Dover. Still pretty buggy but it is probably as authentic as it gets for a flight simulation without being too hardcore like that new A10 simulation where you need half an hour for take-off.

I expect the f-86 sabre to be the top of the line plan, but somehow they make mig-15 the best plane, even if the trackrecords show the sabre is the best one.

Hopefully they include bombers, b-17 flying fortress with all those 50 cal for lulz <3 (must have same lulz factor as the kv with the derp gun)

Btw Mosquito > rest when it comes to WW2 planes hands down.

Well they said they were going to the 50īs and that will make f-86 and mig-15 a gogo.

Poor biplanes beeing chased by those evil mig-15 with a 20mm akan in the nose =)

But serious, how will leveling/skilling work in WOP. How will the planetree look like? Interceptors (fast non agile, like ME 262, p-38) fighters (allround with good agile speed and firepower, Mustangs spitefires Yak) "fighterbombers" (slow, heavy hitters massive armor, p-47 thunderbolts) ?

actually you have a point there. The Mosquito was a seriously well worked bit of kit. pretty too.

I dunno. I got to go with the Spitfire, but the Mosquito is a very very close second.

    Re: World of Warplanes

I'm thinking the best way to make it actual multiplayer combat would be working with objectives, say someone flies with a bomber and has to take out certain targets whilst the enemy has to intercept the bomber before it hits the targets. Accompanied with scout air planes and aircraft hunters this could actually be good fun.

Would not trust Russian hardware. At least with a tank, if it breaks, you can just hang out. With a plane, you will be like fuuuuuuuu

But the devs will make it so that the Russian plane is the fastest, most heavily armed, and overall best plane. They need to l2history.

Also, I may be interested... Will this be more realistic sim or Acecombat faggotry based on what this dev has done before?

    Fixed your poast.

I bet it would end on Sabres, Schwalbes and Fagots though.
