What? Me bitter? I'm laugh'n at it. If I wanted a polished, well balanced, well thought out game I have many other options. A persistent slowmotion trainwreck that survives despite failing is something else instead.
What I do see about dust, unlike other FPS games, is the potential for extreme and profound unfairness as it is modeled like Eve as opposed to "skill based games." Players would only spend their real money, time and figuring out all the inventory if items is both not very accessible and very powerful. This is also necessary as Dust is not competitive as a traditional "pick up and play" game.
So the end result is super landing ships online of some sort, where "winning" require hours of bearing, isk whoring, meta-gaming and other shit. Once the amount of isk on the field is more important then skill, the complete set of bittervet whines and reactions will come in zero time at all.
In the world of money, war are unwanted, wasteful accidents where at lease one side would prefer to be somewhere else in most cases.
