You're Russian. It may be hard to believe but that probably does make you less violent than many Americans.

Using a tiny portion of the populations to cover everyone, aren't generalizations FUN!

He said "many" Americans. Since there have been "many" American mass shootings, is he right or wrong?

You can own guns in Canada for recreational shooting. Somehow Canada does not have a cultural phenomenon of monthly spree shooters

It's almost like American culture is rotten at its core.

Btw it's not like it's illegal to own firearms here, it's just expensive and a massive pita so unless you actually do hunting there's no point. Quite a number of shooting ranges in Moscow popped up recently though where you can target shoot live ammo after just about half an hour of safety prep.

He's wrong, mass shootings are a statistical irrelevance.

They suck, they should be worked against, and every loss of life is bad, but that doesn't make every American a gun nut mass shooter in waiting.

Well, the U.S. seems to go nuts over nipples (~ sexuality ~ something that gives life). But has a ridiculous high tolerance for bloodshed and violence (~ death ~ something that takes lifes) in the same media. What do you expect from such an attitude?

It's always easier to profit from violence than from free loving.

    To paraphrase....

The Nipple is evil! The Nipple shoots milk, and feeds new Life to poison the Earth with a plague of men, as once it was. But the Gun shoots Death and purifies the Earth of the filth of proles. Go forth, and kill! The 2nd Amendment has spoken!

Pot can be rather profitable, more so than civilian firearms. Hopefully it gets full legalization one day.

Documents released on Tuesday revealed that police investigating the mass shooting last October in Las Vegas were seeking to question a second man in connection to the attack.

The identity of the man has not been previously reported. It is unclear whether the man who was identified in the documents as a person of interest remains under investigation. The authorities have said that Stephen Paddock was the sole gunman responsible for the attack, but that there was one additional person of interest still under investigation whom they declined to identify.

On Tuesday, a Nevada court unsealed hundreds of pages of search warrants, including an affidavit filed less than a week after the shooting that identifies the gunman’s longtime girlfriend as a person of interest. The authorities subsequently said the girlfriend, Marilou Danley, was not considered a suspect and that she had continued to cooperate with local and federal investigators.

This thing has turned from being a tragedy to a conspiracy and now a down right unspoken terror event.

I think, but don't hold me to it, that his implication is that the cops know the shooters motivation and who else was involved, but are covering it up for some political reason.

i.e. He was all Islam/Liberal/Whatever and multiple people were involved, but the cops don't want to say it (or some similar thing).

I see. I guess it would be pretty embarrassing for the tolerant left to start beating the high score posted by American cops and right wing church shooters.

Not saying this is your stance but I seriously doubt that the vegas shooter was a leftist, what with his upper class background and high rolling casino lifestyle.

COULD IT BE that the cops aren't saying anything because they dont have anything??? And I'm the last person to defend cops, believe me.

If you're Canadian you're probably more violent than many Americans.

If you're Serbian you're probably taller than many Egyptians.

Shit, if you're American you're probably less violent than many Americans.

If you interpret his phrasing the way you're interpreting it, it's a fucking meaningless statement.
