Fast enough for me, and stops me losing my licence. And comfy for me and the misses for long distance. Plus VTWIN TORQUES @ 4000ROM
And I had the K13S for 2 1/2 years. I know it was comfy too but it is due for the major service, and the front ball joints on the duo-lever suspension need changing (around £1000 for both to be done). Plus I never really got the most out it besides on the track day I did. Its very fast (licence losing) in a straight line but not great round corners. Plus I've heard they get very expensive to fix at around that age (2010) and the suspension goes around that time. Since it is ESA, it's not going to be cheap to replace either....
Tried a Honda CB1000R (2016), was quite good fun but not very comfy. Good A-Road blaster, not for long distances.
Haven't ridden since my op 4 months ago. Got addicted to fucking eve of all things again while recovering from my op. Now, I'm clean and need to learn how to ride again. Which part is the engine?

Op success?
Since I parked my bikes mid september, we have had 5-8 days without rain.
Wish this shit could stop, clouds also needs to fuck off. Need some clear blue skies or I'll end up on a murderspree.

As social distancing and quarantine is not a thing in Swedenland (yet), I have put in over 1000km the last week.
New for this year, I have gone back to Long Levers, so much better.
Minimum effort now to pull in the brake, easy with even one finger and I can hold the clutch in forever without being fatigued.
Put on Techspec tank pads, mostly to protect the paint. Pegs aren't high enough to really use them.
Still waiting for my new Carbon Side Panels, month delay
Spoiler:
Came across this in my Youtube Feed, very well made and music is perfect for the setting.

Huston, we have a crash!
Got hit yesterday while exiting a roundabout by a car entering it.
I'm doing fine, no injuries. Hurting in chest/ribs and shoulder muscle.
If I didn't get knocked off the bike, I would have stayed on and not dug a trench with its side faring.
Lucky me, car missed my leg and hit infront of knee and I missed a light pole by a arms length!
Good gear makes a huge impact, don't be cheap!

So my true love the S1000R got wrecked.
I waited for the 2021 model to replace it with, but since it was ugly, overpriced while using inferior parts I scrapped it.
My only two candidates left was the Aprilia Tuono and Ducati V4S Streetfighter (On the later one I planned to buy a new 2020 model and save money).
I didn't pull the trigger, since neither bike managed to scratch that itch.
Gave up on looking for a bike, then some days ago I woke up and in zombie mode I clicked through my bookmarks on autopilot and landed on the search query I had made for bikes.
There it was, the Ducati as I had mentally decided how it should be kitted out. Plus extras!
216bhp on the rear wheel, so this bike might be a death sentence..
A new 2020 costed 210k SEK. This one has 4600km on it + Ducati extras for 45-50k at a price of 210k (Plus all break in services completed).

That is a nice looking bike. You're going to die!
What happened to the S1000R?
Congrats and may you rest in pieces (don't pls)
We need to revive this thread. Good looking MT09, a seat for tender bottoms.
Meanwhile I'm taming my dragon. Bike is WOW!
Put on Lever and Radiator Guards. Don't think there is much more to add. Maybe a DB killer or two. Sound is at 14.
