That's a Ural isn't it? Same engine as the 1901 BMW or something.

Spent two hours installing a 12v socket on my Kawa yesterday. Spent four hours after that trying to find out what I'd broken because the bike lost all electrics after that.

This is why I only clean my bikes. Everything above that, I pay competent people to do.

Guess you have to start pulling fuses to figure where the bad is.

Looks like it was the main fuse. I'll test again tomorrow.

Hopefully it gets liscenced. I'm looking forward to helmets that have all this tech built in, but as add ons it's kinda annoying.

I think they are "partnering" with premium brands first, since their customer base is more willing to spend money.
Once fully funded, I guess we will see more manufacturers being added.

Luckily for me, I'm currently looking for a new helmet since the wind noise inside my Shark Spartan Carbon helmet is atrocious.
Was looking at the Arai Chaser X and Rebel helmets.
Considering you have to pay 70-90usd for a tinted visor (why not sun visor??) this isn't that much extra for a 2in1 solution.

Hit something in the road, was doing a tight, blind right hand corner.
Usually hug the edge of the road since cars tends to use more than their fair share of the road.
Just saw something dark on the right, tried to avoid it, think I just tapped the side of it.

Whatever it was must have been hit but my tire and been tossed up. Hit my pipes and catalyst.

Assume only a rock could have made that much dmg.
Didn't stop since I was was in a series with corners so I just pressed on.

    Nice.

Currently half way through my weekly commute (160ks from Newcastle to Sydney). Bike told me it was 2 degrees and there was a risk of ice on the road. Windchill at 120ks sucks m'kay.

    (Still better than a cage).

Ouch, man, sorry to see that. That looks suspiciously like a piece of concrete judging by the multiple sharp scrapes. My saturday morning started off with me on the KTM landing in a speed trap, 2 kph under the obligatory 1 month loss of licence. The fine is going to cost about as much as fixing your pipe will, i.e. around $500.

If you lot ever get the chance to ride around Romania, make a detour to Transalpina road. Highly recommend

    Transfagarasan as well.

Just not during the weekends. Make sure it's open as well, it's at times closed. Also, the road is awesome and shit at the same time (tarmac quality is horrendous).
