Arkaday, giving Putin's statements any weight is idiotic. Putin's words have no basis in reality. They are mainly aimed at the domestic Russian audience, drip fed lies and propaganda for years. I can't believe that low-information Americans are falling for it too.

The US hasnt provided any aid to the Azov national guard unit since at least 2018 and only sparingly before that.

Also there are no regimes worse than Putin's outside of outliers like North Korea and Syria, and they have much less capacity for harm than Putin does.
Putin is this generation's evil megalomaniacal dictator and that's how he will be remembered.
