My point is Finland will have have access to Russian oil and gas via European companies.

Boomers are to blame for creating a generation of spoiled, entitled narcissists. You are welcome.

Finland just had a new Nuclear power plant finished, and is still ramping up power.
Finish refineries weren't importing Russian oil in any significant volumes. No Scandinavian countries do besides the occasional spot cargo.
Probably >1% range in the form of finished grades.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???

The point you are missing is that Finland doesn't need russian gas due to having a diversified energy grid and years of sensible energy policy and investment.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

And that we chose not to pay the bully in a way that actually would give Putin more money instead of just adding to the confiscated USD reserves. The annual imports of Putins blood-energy amounted to ~5% of our needs, before accounting for the new NPP that is now starting production and will provide more than 10% of our energy needs.

    Came here to post this.

That's quite an outspoken statement. And as clear as it can be. Nothing I expect from someone whose key job qualification is to wrap harsh criticism in sweet sounding words.

I especially like the "sail on yachts comparable in tonnage and cost to the entire Russian Navy" bit.

Russia is using thermobaric weapons against ukrainian citys.
    Barbarians.
When I see a bird that walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck id call it a duck.
And if the bird denies to be a duck it is a russian duck.

It's how the Russian army has always fought, to be honest. Russian and soviet doctrine has always been massive artillery strikes followed up by large frontal assaults., it's what they've always trained for. One of the reasons why the initial rush on Kyiv and other major cities failed I think is that the Russian army was trying to fight in a non Russian way - trying to do major envelopment, encirclement operations. Now they are fighting their classic way.

There's dozen of things you can rightfully shit on Russia for, but cities on the front lines (there shouldn't even be a front line) being destroyed in war (there shouldn't even be a war) happens in every conflict. Lyman is literally in the path of the Russian advance and right on the front.
