I thought since we had a srs bsns version of this thread, the only point of this was shitposting?
Thermonuclear Banana Split - A not-really-weekly Eclipse Phase campaign journal
Previous thread was constipated, then. A Razor catalyzed the plugging.
Audacter calumniare, semper aliquid haeret

Are full of passionate intensity." -Yeats, 1919
Yeah, I started off posting angelic proper and eventually became a major contributor to the sewer of the old thread. I'll try to be different here, but I suppose certain poasters will be along to get the crapola flowing again.
FWIW, it seems the issue of who supports what in eastern Ukraine is not as one-sided as one may have thought. There was a large demonstration in support of Ukraine in Donetsk yesterday which was then attacked by presumably separatists in balaclavas and uniforms wielding metal pipes and baseball bats.
It seems that the more extreme separatists want to hold their referendum this or next week.

I'll try to keep a closer watch on this thread when I am awake and able. Easter holidays left the old thread pretty much without moderation since the mod interface of tapatalk leaves a lot to be desired.

When I see a bird that walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck id call it a duck.
And if the bird denies to be a duck it is a russian duck.
because you guys are unable to community moderate it yourself. Now stop talking about moderation and start talking about Ukraine. And stop being retards, although I know it is hard.
Yatsenyuk interview: Russia waging 'new kind of war'
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk tells DW about the danger he sees in current Russian policy in the area. He says that Russia has been waging a new kind of war "for 10 years."
"We are in a trap," he said. "On the one hand, we need to protect civilians. On the other hand, if we start a comprehensive and large-scale counterterrorist operation, this would lead to a relatively high death toll, including civilian casualties."

Or Ukraine 2: Regardless of who loses, skinhead street thugs will win.
Sergei said that the Russian troops have been sent back to their permanent bases after Ukraine declared it had no plans to use its troops against its citizens, but...

I am reminded of a conversation from the movie Gorki Park.
Having lived through the cold war I am not in the slightest surprised by any of this. At least people these days might realise that Russians are not all smiles.Arkady Renko: Too many people in our society disappear. They fall into a gulf.
Professor Andreev: What sort of gulf?
Arkady Renko: The gulf between what is said and what is done.
[Renko is talking very loudly, and Andreev's lab technicians are listening]
Professor Andreev: You may not be much longer for this world, my fine imprudent fellow
