I played 4 10v10's this weekend, because I'm a casual scrub with a 34% winrate so nobody will play with me otherwise even if I do think I'm pretty good for a casual.

Highlights: (Played as UK (3 Games) and Red Dragons (1 Game)

    First Game:
Some dude did a full Russian Helo rush on me (UK) in the first game, and I was still rusty, as it was my first game, so lost my entire starting force, even the AA!
Proceeded to still win the game through defence in depth, the Helo player didn't change tactics once the rush succeeded.
We won because they where too aggressive.

    Second Game:
UK, Secured the middle town/meatgrinder at Asgaurd and proceeded to steam-roll east German infantry with Gurkha 90's and a Scandi player with Flame-troops.
Enemy got pushed all the way to spawn.

    Third Game:
Big map with naval on each side, can't remember the name, played as Red Dragons, took the middle point (Fedor?) with Helo bourne infantry, killed a lot of enemy Helos (JA-90 or whatever are pretty good)
Managed to deploy Recon and Lian-Jian early securing a critical bridge. Took artillery fire for the entire game there, reinforced with amphibious Chinese and nork transports, the nork ones that have the AA missiles shot down 2 (TWO!) Apache helicopters, guess he wasn't expecting that based on the acc of the unit, I wasn't either. Kept getting pushed back in mid due to overwhelming artillery fire, devised a plan to utilise my helo rush that I had since sent back to repair to deliver a stealth strike on enemy artillery, didn't work out, got to the first island and a pair of Stormers sat launching missles, lost about 6 helos before my ATGM's finally hit. Abandoned that plan and instead opted to mass Naval planes and destroy the enemy navy for easy points, worked out fine, won on points because navy is dumb.

    Fourth Game:
UK but this time on the landlocked map, after my learnings in the first game I opted for a mobile and heavy AA setup, tanks and SPAAG/SPAA, got helo rushed, 600 points straight away, procceeded to wreck shit all game, 4 (FOUR?!) challenger 2s, stopped a rush of about 25 T55 and various other 30 points tanks, it was glorious, sadly lost one because his optics got fucked and because of attack move he decided that the best course of action was to charge at the enemy. I kinda let him do it because I wanted to see how it panned out, he died.

I use the Jaguar ground attack plane with the ATGMs, Eurofighters, the harriers with the SEAD, and the tornadoes with the cluster ap stuff.

    Overall good games, 10v10 fun.

fast atgm planes and good recon should be #1 way to remove superheavies

your own superheavy should handle whatever other tanks they have left

most players paying even a bit of attention will dodge MLRS before the tank dies completely

    ... No.

    ATGM[!] and a F&F one.

Don't have game installed so can't check datacards but from memory, the F-18s and the Mig 27 where the top picks a long time ago for superheavy removal.
Micro plane to release missile so it hits the tank from the side. Reap tears.

Isn't the Paveway in this High Explosive?

I once made a player rage quit by hitting two command vehicles in a line with the F18. Was awesome.

Yes, however unlike most HE bombs, LGBs will always* hit the top armor of a vehicle, for most redfor tanks that meant that a double hit would kill it.

*It's been somewhat changed so LGBs now have a chance to miss completely

The reason people take Paveways in CW is because their atgm planes are either trash (jaguar) or overpriced (kahu) and the paveway can do other things beyond sniping tanks.

Literally whats the point of the Kahu at that pricetag

Yeah, LGBs have function beyond just sniping armor, which more than makes up the cost. GR.7 in particular can seriously fuck advancing inf formations too, with good release micro.

Since the LGB nerf in the Israel DLC 10HE LGBs are no longer reliable heavy removers. If you have a good ATGM plane available, it will outperfom LGBs bombers VS superheavies by a large margin. Without being extremely lucky a LGB bomber will not kill a superheavy at max HP in a single run, while an ATGM plane will.

LGBs are more about split micro VS multiple light targets now.

I prefer to use both if I have the choice, ATGMs vs tanks, and LGBs vs everything else. Normal HE bombers get too easily dogded, especially in cities.

Well the only ATGM planes UK get are Jaguars and they are a bit shit to say the least.

Played a game as North Korea.

AA launchers on all the things.

Apache's didn't know what hit em.

Like the grouping on them Calliopes. Doesn't make it look like a joke at all.
