    It's a mix/max cheesefest, and the first two wars you have to do everything essentially perfect. Events triggers too early; restart. Switch to fascism too late; restart. Belgian troops in the wrong spot on start of war; restart. UK is not at war by the end of '39; restart. Lose too much manpower in first two wars; restart.

    Its not actually a challenge if you restart 8 times.

    at that point you may aswell install a shitload of cheat mods.

    Why install cheat mods when the console gives you quite a lot of power already. It can't give you factories as far as I can tell. Bit other than that you can manage a lot with it.

    Are they disabled in multiplayer by default?

    I didn't even know what the commands where, or that you could just enable them at will, so no, not obvious to me (casual)

    Isn't there a bug in MP hotjoin still that players who join are able to use console cheats regardless? Or has that been fixed?

    it's gotten better the last two months, the AI stopped airfield stuffing for me anyway.

    but how the fuck do you avoid having 80% of the Royal navy sunk within the first three months of the war ? just endlessly pump out screen ships (Destroyers and Light Cruisers) of what ?

    Light cruisers or Carriers seem to be the only boats worth making. Spam either of them and have decent air cover and you should be fine, your other ships will eventually die off.

    My RN is usually two lines building CLs from day one, adding a line of DDs, a line of CAs, and then everything after that as CVs. I've never had the slightest issue having total naval superiority as them though, even when making a sane force mix.

    Played it after someone mentioned a present day mod (Millennium Dawn). Turned out pretty raw but i got into the base game.

    Got any mod recommendations besides real air missions? Ground is pretty good since it's the focus but air&navy still need touching up, also loleconomics.
