    Replace the .mkv extension with .wmv or other desired container format and it will. All you have to do is rename the file.

    That's not how video container formats work, but for shits and giggles I tried it anyway - PS3 still says "Unsupported Data". I can re-encapsulate them later to MP4s without touching the video and audio streams.

    They could be FOSS prudes. I still see plenty of torrented anything that is only distributed at HD resolutions in MKV containers.
