I liked Elona as a continent but nightfall as a campaign, with its required heroes for every mission, different bounties for different groups and the whole fucking junundu thing, was just infuriating.

The worm thing sucked but overall i enjoyed everything else. The enemy builds changed enough to need to change your build often. I really enjoyed vanqing the hard to reach elona areas.

Well Staff is king of AOE for WvW. Making it awesome for 1v1 too would make the other choices less interesting.

I need to stop reading about, watching vids on, and theory crafting warrior builds using the web resources. Its not helping my withdrawl.

maybe I can just hotswap weapons depending on the situation and roll with my original D/D Ele build while in WvW, I guess that's fine - I will lose a bit of efficiency when it comes to AoE'ing down zergs but that's fine, gotta have the build optimized for smaller fights

not that D/D Ele is that good 1on1 compared to the likes of fucking Necro / Mesmer

so, did you guys like the sPVP? the forums were in such a rage about them. i never tried it because i'm fucking hooked on WvWvW, but do the complaints have any validity? the main concern seemed to be the single conquest gameplay mode, and how it pales in comparison to the first. i never played gw1 so i have no perspective on the matter.

dagger/dagger for small fights / sPvP / etc. and the 20 arcane staff trait because it's stupidly good for when you do want to use staff (WvW etc.)

in other news, i sort of recreated the feel of my favourite class in any mmo ever, the herald from Age of Conan, with the Guardian... 2hander, fire and aoe, but this time i can actually survive (actually really fucking tanky for the damage i did) and soooo much fun. Plus can switch to staff or sth for flexibility and some range if they kite you too much. Always fun jumping into a fight in the structured pvp and just taking off 2/3 of most people's hp in one combo :P
