Looks promising.

Shows all the kits.
That PvP video is the first thing I've seen on PvP. I have no idea if it'll be a successful model, however I like that they're taking it on a new idea and incorperating two completely separate PvP environments. I also like that they're keeping the GW model of limiting level grind, and gear grind, especially the separate PvP system. Despite having played GW since Factions release, this is the first time I've actually felt excited about GW2.
not sure I like the route they are taking on pvp.
I'm sure it's frustrating to be sperging about how someone said "no, not doing that yet" - but we've had 7 years to learn to pace ourselves after killing a block. And I dare say -- we've gotten quite good at it.
Sorry if it doesn't suit the armchair generals who have never committed to anything for more than 2 months, but by now we've learned that we really don't give a shit about what you think v0v.
Want.
Never was too exited about GW1, but #2 looks interesting indeed.

Played the shit out of prophecies and loved it, didn't care about this until I watched the first video. Interested.
looks good, after playing The Wither 2 I've got a thing again for RPG's never really played an MMO-land based-RPG
Would really like to play it with my 360 controller hope its able too. Sound's weird but I dislike having to spread my fingers & thumbs out to 10 different places to play a game, also reading people say mapping controls to the controller is difficult is plain silly talk. Im getting old!
The world pvp in that video is DAoC RVR, only with servers instead of realms. Holy crap. It took a decade but finally someone gets it.
I just hope it's true and not someone trying to fit random bits of info together and using DAoC as a base...
The WvWvW is definitely true.
Its the biggest part of pvp that has me hyped, finally 3 sides to a battle.
Now the battles can become really dynamic and there's a chance to encounter the enemy of my enemy is my friend for a time.
Server matching is awesome and the idea that everyone on your server is your friend when it comes to WvWvW is cool for community, I assume the 5v5 pvp will be against rivals on your own server, so we'll have a chance to form rivals that become allies in different fields of battle.
Saw in one of the videos that the World V World stuff that you could have 30 people fighting 300, which sounds fun to me.
Just being F2P is enough for me to buy it.
I used to have a sig.
This is the biggest thing for me tbh, everything looks good so far, but just the fact that it ain't just another mmo is a big deal. Also means I don't feel the game has to prove itself in the first month before I cancel my sub and move on.Originally Posted by Iloni Atoriandra

I never got that much into guild wars as I was just hopping from pve instances to pve instance, even playing in a group with comms it just got too grindy for me. This however looks severely good, do want.

Want mainly for the eyecandy. Will roll as Norn and snow things up.
Thing is you rarely get better games for a monthly subscription these days. Subs sure as shit don't mean quality anymore (if it ever did) and after Rift I, for one, is done with mmo's. A multiplayer game with only the initial cost and expansions is just fine and dandy for me.Originally Posted by Aramendel
