Looks like the worst initial bit in hardcore mode is the ride to Talmberg after the attack on Skalitz - if you take the bleed out faster perk there's a good chance you bleed out before you get there, from the arrow hits.
So just like shitty ill conceived and terribly balanced "hardcore" mods for Skyrim then.

    NBS.

ROFL bet you anything there would be a small, hardcore group of neckbeards saying that it's totally historical and realistic and the rest of us plebs should 'deal with it'.

I'm on playthrough 2 now, spending a lot more time exploring early on. Kinda plowed through a big chunk of the early quests first time through and missed a ton of quests in the process, so now trying to find them all. 1.6 seems to have improved some stuff, but it's reintroduced some of the clothing clipping issues with a few items (noble mail coif being the main problem child so far).

I really enjoy playing a videogame where it takes 8 tries to load in because the mother keeps miscarrying

There's an idea for a Fallout 3 mod.

Fallout would probably crash on load so I'd say it's already there

I think there's a difference between "realistic" and "historical". A game like KCD wouldn't want potions to regain health, but it also would be boring as shit if you had to wait 6-8 in game weeks to recover from getting slashed in your last fight.

idk it's fine if they wouldn't press their save system that everyone and their mother have modded out anyway

otoh you can make the schnapps by hundreds if you actually grind alchemy which is also a bitch - i cocked up a quest in which i had to deliver 60 potions so had to do it all by hand which took me a good hour or two and that only bumped it up to 9 from 6 or thereabouts

Massively interested in another awkward sims ripoff. Unless it lets us shag the milkmaids.

Blame complexity. Still objectively judging it's a much more impressive product than Witcher 1 was. I can't wait for Kingdom Come 3. (Hussite wars!!!)

By about 2/3 the way through the combat has become so easy (yeah yeah you can make it harder, i didn't) that the whole game has devolved into "walk to location X, press Attack twice, collect item, return to castle" ruining the lovely world and immersion.

Still, it was pretty good for the first few acts and held my attention more than many a game.
Please don't teach me what to do with my pc.
