He's probably living in an alley and throwing cats at people while shouting incoherently.

Went to see Dunkirk. Found it very enjoyable. Sound was top notch. I think some of the criticism about lack of scale is misplaced, it's not an 'epic' and I don't think it was ever marketted as such.

I didn't know when someone was shooting at you it sounded like they were standing right beside you with a gun and firing into your ear.

I thought there was like, a plink from the bullet and then maybe a delayed crack.

Top notch doesn't necessarily mean realistic tbh

Recent watches: 30 Days of Night and A Boy And His Dog. 30 Days is a 28 Days Later clone with talking "vampires", jump-scares to make up for the lack of a story, and plenty of cliches. I found it to be quite boring but the visuals are stunning.... the ending comes right out of a comic book mind. A Boy And His Dog is a hilarious post-apocalyptic pre-Mad Max romp from the 70's about a young lad and his telepathic mutt. Supposedly the inspiration for the Fallout games it's a film that if made now would have the loony side of the left protesting outside cinema's. Maybe.

Fair enough. I didn't like that it was used for jump scares. But it was only a few scenes, the rest was good.
