Yes, the reason is that there's a lot less skill required to use them properly. Not because a bow and arrow can't be fast or deadly. See also: this fucker:

that's all fine and dandy, but can he hit shit at half a kilometer though? like, a hundred times?

haven't seen new lara so not aware of the context but the only thing bow and arrow have got going for it is virtual silentness

Also it's cooler than guns and gives the protagonist a big "i'm skilled lol" development boost compared to bullets

I don't deny a bow being fast and deadly in skilled hands, however you can argue that an automatic rifle in skilled hands can do so much more.

And in ccq a bow is basically shoot once then get lead intoxication. But plot armour etc.

You've managed to fail at moving out of your parent's house in your late 20s so it doesn't surprise me you have doubts there are people who have done that and also gone to the moon.

You are getting confused, the thread title refers to a specific movie, called Moon. It once triggered some funny arguements about low budget special effects and space suits. It isn't "Moon landing is art", that must be on some other forum where people trade conspiracy theories and shopped photos of bigfoot and mermaids.

Perhaps a contender to replace "Battlefield Earth" as my personal worst movie ever made?
