Not what I was going for but ok. It could still be better than TLJ.
Somehow star wars fans have constantly been going "the next one can't be as bad as the last one, surely it can't be..."

I realy liked the prequels. Enjoyed the _other_ new ones aswell. but TLJ was just embarasingly terrible in every way.

It did a lot of things wrong (space battle logic is somehow even worse than ever, 50/50 on whether the humor ruined it for anyone) but it did a lot of things right too (individual character arcs were all impeccably done, the true nature of the Jedi was more deeply explored than in the entirety of the prequels).

The prequels were embarrassingly terrible in every way, save that they actually contained ideas that were new to the Star Wars universe.

They are rebooting Mortal Kombat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The least sucking of all game adaptations.
The Epic Store is amazing, I've been able to save so much money by not buying their games.

It feels like we've reached a creative dead end.

It does feel like film's popcorn department is stuck in an infinite reboot loop, but there is good stuff being made over in artsyland.

It's because people are idiots who will only go and see what they already know.

I saw a figure somewhere recently that said sequels make on average five times what an original story makes, even if it gets panned by critics.

It was their theory as to why sequels are nearly always worse, because why bother trying if people are just going to show up either way?

Tying the value of art to how much money it makes seems to be a problem...

Most of the planet it seems since the last spiderman movie is the most profitable one yet. Why bother coming up with new stuff when people will literally throw 1.1 billion dollars at you to remake shit

And another irony being that Into the Spiderverse was actually a good and original movie, so it can be done.

It might be ok but it's going to make the v for vendetta fans normal.
