Jojo Rabbit is great, funny most of the time but effortlessly switches to serious once it has to.

Decade ia a ten-year period beginning with the year 1, so we are still in decade 2 (2011-2020) of 21 century.

imo bad decade for movies, with a few exceptions, too many super hero movies with sane recipe, reboots and remakes, inflation of bad scripts, no wonder A list actors move to TV shows and cable networks
Acchtually . . . . Jesus was born in 0 AD, not 1 AD. so the first decade was 0-9 AD, with 10 AD starting the second decade.
Actually ... Jesus was born somewhere around 7 to 4 BC so that makes (the current) 0 AD the (then real) 4 to 7 AD, meaning that now 2020 is actually ... :countsonhisfingersconfused:

Add to that, that there's only 10 kind of years, those start a decade and those that don't

For me Archie Yates (Yorki) was the highlight. Stole every scene he was in. His entire performance, the way he carried himself, presence, and most importantly delivery of those lines had me in stitches. Worth the price of ticket just to see that. Deserves an oscar in supporting role tenfold more than ScarJo. And she did a great job as well, loved the mother-son relationship they had. Someone, book author or Taika, if he changed that for screenplay, had amazing parents. Hope I can do as good of a job one day.

Adding a +1 for The Lighthouse. Went to the cinema for the first time in ages to watch it. Was worth it just for the sound. I wonder if Robert Eggers is going for a John Woo thing with his hungry birds?

I know I'm late to the party, but I watched Joker. I love how I don't know if I should cheer or boo Arthur in the end.

I know I didn't feel any sympathy for all the people killed. Esp. Wayne, that fucking rich entitled asshole.

It captured the spirit of our times down to the last bit though.

Karen Gillian always looks like (she just found out that) shes wearing her underwear on the outside and noone told her. Not that i am complaining, mind you.

And Michelle Pfeiffer apparently has Photoshop in her contract.

Whatever you think of the movies, or how they may milk it to death going forward, what they did with that group of people was an achievement.

Jeff Goldblum is just standing there, coolest guy in the room. Also Brie Larsson looked really tall but after a quick google it's just Ruffalo's lifelong dream of becoming a Hobbit that has come true.

Most actors are manlets. Easier to make a short guy seem tall than the other way around.

Also the reason RDJ is sitting, and closest to the camera.
