    Swap an LSE for an invuln if you have good logi support, but watch you cap evaporate.

    70K EHP, 810 DPS before implants with RF damage ammo, goes to 910 with Hail

    Nice in small gangs, with the mobility (enhanced with links if you have 2) and the DPS of two ships.

    I fit a scram as in equally matched engagements I tend to get up in peoples faces to take advantage of the DPS. Kind of like how a blaster ship should be....

    Downgrade a gyro to a TE and 1 gun and you can go pith booster but it really needs gist stuff for the cap. And/or faction invulns, PDS and gyros for cpu.
    If you want any more tank, consider something like a (dual medium cap booster) claymore.

    The other, other thing to use all that PG for could be an 100mn AB. It fits but it ain't that fast and you'll only have a scram if that, no web to help GTFO.

    If you don't care about the scram you can swap for a shield boost amp but you'll need to get faction gyros/downgrade guns to free up cpu.

    Coz it already has reasonable falloff and I got hung up on keeping the 425s, plus every little cap helps.

    Y-T8 for perma running (away), T2 for sitting still and tanking like a boss.

    T2 gives less cap penalty so you have more cap for tanking, Y-T8 has less cap usage so less cap for running.

    True, but since you will inject cap anyway every few sec, the small amount of extra max cap at the beginning of the fight (due to lower penalty) is often less useful than the reduced cap usage of the named (allowing you to get more use out of your cap charges), at least on cap booster fits.

    But then your recharge rate is higher, so you should need to inject cap less often, thereby daving space in your hold FOR MOAR AMMOOS

    Yeah, T2 is better on active tanks. Its marginal but it is better.

    The only Burst Aerator II on the page at the moment (excluding past edits) is in the OP (DC II, 2x gyro, 2xTE plus burst rig). With all skills at 5, Yvella has 717 turret dps at 2+30 km with RF Fusion.

    If Yvella had an ambit rig instead of the burst rig, those stats after stacking pens would be 640 dps at 2+33 km. Alternatively, to keep the focus on high dps, Yvella could have used DC, 3xgyro, TE + ambit, which would yield 720 dps at 2+28 km.

    I thought the OP went with the best combination and has +8.3% tracking from the 2nd TE. It's a scram fit but for reference, using Barrage in these comparisons doesn't make much differance.

    Ambits suck. T2 bursts are nice. you allready have 2x TE. Adding 3k more falloff or whatever is just stupid at that point.
    Id much rather have 50-60 more base dps than doing an extra 20dps at the edge of your falloff, and the burst rig will probably give you those 20 dps just aswell as the ambit at max range.

    My experience with the sleipnir is that the XL sb version simply does not work
    Sure it tanks alot, but the cap is just abominating, you can't even get 2 cycles of shield of 1 cap inject
    1 neut will ruin your day

    Some of the faction might not be completely worth it, like the 3 RF gyro's that give you aprox 40 dps more then T2 ones
    But you can adjust to your likings ofc

    Yeah you need to go balls out pimp if you want to use an XL-booster. Another problem is that you can't fit a medium neut + 425mm ACs.
    I was gonna get this before I decided to give all my stuffs away. Now I need to train a new Tengu alt :E even though they can theoretically be probed now it's still not very likely to happen.



    A downside with the faction injector is that you can't pick up cap boosters from wrecks as they probably won't fit.

    Regular 800s fit in a t1 medium booster just fine. However if you run out of navy 800s you need to manually load the regular 800s or it'll just sit there with an empty booster.

    I spent a long time dicking with this on EFT and couldn't come up with a fit i liked. XL is just sooo cap heavy. 30s worth of cap from 100% seems too fragile.
    So I went with a Large booster setup. And tried to keep my booster price less than the price of the ship. The pith B is about 165m.

    The tank is ok. Def not great. I think I'm just going to go with a buffer setup. The numbers just aren't impressive without big isk. Already 300ship + 165booster = 465
    Add LG Crystals 700 = 1.16b
    Pretty expensive to go active.

    I've also been seriously considering the hole large vs x-l debate. And to be honest, I've personally just went the x-l. Yes cap stability is fucked, but when you look at over all sustained reps, both fits do the same, while you get the extra burst of the x-l. Only recently got it, so I still have yet to fly it extensively, but yesterday I did have fun baiting and tanking 4 drakes and diemos while my gang arrived, not sure the large fit could have done that.

    As for trying to kite while sustaining missile dps, maybe the large does better? but is it worth losing the burst tank? Any experinced sleip pilots wanna throw in their 2 cents.
