If you're going to fit two webs anyways you're really probably better off with a proteus for this. dual 90% webs is a total waste more or less.

edit: also wtf is up with this thread, use the vigi thread, like it's always been on this forum, 1 thread -> 1 ship keeps it cleaner.
I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

I can see a use for 2 webs to keep stuff inside a HIC bubble or something, but then you might want a sebo and have to sit in the middle of them.
As for fucking AB tengus, I always favoured the Ashimmu though the direct dps is pathetic.
The mention of dual prop was for still being able to move under a scram, and getting under big stuff's tracking.
Lastly, is 3 EANMS and a DC really the best resists profile? Factoring in ganglinks too?

I did read the rules prior to posting it. There was nothing there saying i should not post like that. Nor was there anything saying what the deal with thread necro'ing was. So, i posted it there.

Stop complaining, it is your job to organize these threads.

Keep it on track from now on, I've actually taken the time to do some light moderation past couple days and actually posted the rules which everyone but E T seemed to sort of understand and follow allowing me months of peace only for dumb people to stumble across this forum.

I don't think so and I don't think it's the best resist profile before links either. Along similar cost lines and less penalties, a quick play in Excel gives:

    IN EANM x2
    Armor Explosive Hardener II
    DC II
    Anti-Kin Rig II
    Anti-Therm Rig II

    EXP: 78 (vs. 71)
    KIN: 77 (vs 75)
    TH: 77 (vs 75)
    EM: 77 (vs 81)
    Mean: 77 (vs. 75)

Using T1 resist rigs would still give good results.
Now I have a T2 gun. Ho, ho, ho.

    SHC '10 and proud.

Applied Creations is recruiting. Mystic Volundar says, "It could be you! " =D

    Medium Trimark Armor Pump I

    Hammerhead II x5
Now before someone cries foul, hear me out.
This is basically working in the same line of setups as my Navy Vexor & Deimos.
Its targets are more similar to the VNI, but since it doesn't sport a big active tank, it's not as diverse as the Deimos.
The Deimos is still the *better* ship, but lately I've been getting jammed a fuckload, and this doesn't.

    Specs (All 5, CX-1, ZGM1000)
    - 40k uniform eHP
    - 5.8s align (superboss)
    - 725 (810) dps w/ antimatter & 791 (886) dps w/ void
    - 39.2 (45) sensor strength

    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

250mm Railgun II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M

Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II

With Loki links + Shield Resistance + LG Snakes + Normal Deimos implants

    3.4km/s (4.9km/s OH)
    4.3s align (2.9 w/o MWD)
    550 dps/1931 volley (650 DPS OH)
90% web out to 27k OH, so rail tracking shouldn't be an issue.

I've been trying to make a rail Deimos/Vigilant that works, testing on Sisi. Rails don't track for shit, especially without TEs/metastasis rigs. 90% web is nice, but you don't want to be heating it for long, it's non-instant to take effect + cycle time, and the main problem is vs more than 1 opponent, you probably can't dictate position on one while tracking another (or I'm just bad/never tried such a fast fit). Blasters + Null + falloff bonus + drones projects dps well inside web range too.

    Also...

[Vigilant, 100mn ab?! plate & mar, depimped, snakes, less resists more dps]

Heavy Electron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Electron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Electron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Electron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Electron Blaster II, Null M

    Gist A-Type 100MN Afterburner
    Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
Medium Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 400
    Dread Guristas Warp Scrambler

    Damage Control II
800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
    Corelum C-Type Energized Explosive Membrane
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
    Centum C-Type Medium Armor Repairer

    Medium Ancillary Current Router II
    Medium Hybrid Metastasis Adjuster I
    Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I

    Valkyrie II x5

Mixed success, needs a lot of force multipliers to work, can be epic when it does and no one understands why they can't track it while it's so close, holding them stationary & pounding on them. More than one at once are utter pwnzone. T2 version gives up a lot of speed & tank while still needing T2 PG rig.
It can perma-AB and tackle without using the injector, useful for positioning/GTFO.

if it needs lots of force multiplier to work, it's not working

Eh, it's situational. It's like saying Crystal'd Maelstroms aren't working when they pew fine with Tengu links, and without those two things they have 1/4 the tank or something retarded and DIAF to almost anything. Huge force multipliers gunna multiply.

For that fit it's at least as much about the deadspace AB and repper as it is any links/implants, tbh.

I have a frigate tackling for me - mostly baiting then warp in to kill. The vigilant seems SO much better than the deimos tbh.. the web bonus and +1 mid seems too good.

90% web needs three tracking enhancers?
    Contract stuff to Seraphina Amaranth.
