Anything of interrest being said?
Watched Liquid Rising the other day and although interesting, I did feel like "So when's the documentary going to start and when are these introductions going to end?". It wasn't a documentary, it was an hour and a half of getting to know Team Liquid.
the game's patching mechanism must be the most retarded ever designed, i wish it would just delete my boot.ini
Hey, I just met you,

Woot woot back into platinum
Been playing multi for a bit but although I am starting to improve I am stuck in cheese city (bronze)...fuck my life
Finally picked up playing a lot. Finally got put into Plat, finally some games where my opponents don't do random useless shit and scouting gases etc actually makes sense. Other than that have been practicing a ton with plat/diamond/masters players. It's really funny how once you've practiced with people 1 or 2 leagues higher than you, you basically completely trash everyone on the ladder. After having slumped in lower leagues for like 6 seasons (apparently), hopefully jumping from Gold to Diamond in just this one season.![]()
Cheese is actually very, very easy to hold off once you get some practice in.
Randoms: Assume this is always going to be cheese at the sub-diamond skill level. Scout fucking everywhere, plan for heavy early aggression from your opponent.
Zerg: 6 pool and 7RR is the two most common cheeses here. Both are super easy to hold off if you adjust your build accordingly. Note that if the zerg doesn't go All In on these attacks, that they can still recover and make it a normal game if they did even a little damage. Generally this only happens at the diamond and higher level though.
Terran: Proxy raxes, SCV rushing, PF rushing. Its all pretty easy to hold so long as you don't let a bunker go up in your base.
Toss: Cannon rushing, very easy to spot and stop. Don't attack the pylons, attack the cannons (4 workers kill one before it warps in), trap/kill the probe if possible.
