So, for those still looking for a server - I have one up (paid for and such) and working as of 2 days ago.

    IP: 94.23.241.157:27045

How to Access (privacy settings): Currently server is set to Steam Group ID only, so in order to actually see and access the server, you'll have to join my Steam Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Merpa

Then, you can either enter the IP address ingame, or use the Steam -> View -> Servers -> Favorites -> Add Server and connect directly.

Currently its capped to 10 players, but I have no problems increasing capacity if there are more people willing to play.

I also have TS available if desired.

Current "house rules" is basically, don't be a dick. Some people have combined projects, some people have solo projects - you're more than welcome to join in the combined projects or fly off solo and find your own asteroid (server is set to exploration / infinite mode) as there's literally an endless amount of space, so all I ask is don't go ruining people's fun by blowing shit up without asking "for lulz". Considering the server's basically invite-only, randoms wont be joining.

Get friends, create a faction, see if another faction is up for some wars in the future, and go build stuff - or join us in building asteroid bases and ships. Build whatever you want, really. Oh PS - world is set to Cataclysm, so beware of meteor showers.

The mod list... (it'll all auto-download, but the list is FYI)

    We now have a server.
You must be in the Failheap Challenge Steam Group to use it.
Should be able to join with this: BUTAN

    Don't be a dick.

Looks promising, built by the same people who did miner wars I guess this is an iteration of that then.

Looks cool. The building itself looks rather time consuming though.

Miner Wars had a terribly optimized graphics engine. I had to upgrade to a GeForce 660 and it still couldn't manage to keep a stable fps. I really wanted that game to be fun but it didn't happen, so I'm not optimistic about this.

mine runs it fine with an older card (gx280) are you sure it's not the processor or system memory? remember it's teselation rather than more standard graphics so it's likely to hit your system harder on sheer processing power than anything else.

Saw some FHC nerd playing it last night. Can't remember who. Thought about asking what the skinny was on it but my autism reared up and I launched more Kerbals into space instead.

they did a prerelease for people on their forums, I got it, but that probably wasn't me. Right now all it's got is single player creative, which is good as far as it goes, I was able to make a working fucking starfury, so there's that.

The way it works right now is you put together blocks and attach stuff to them, reactors, gyros, weapons cockpit modules. you can jump in your creations and fly around and it has surprisingly decent graphics/optimisation, the only hangs I got were during the autosaves which you can turn off.
