That explains it. I never redeemed it and sent it to my wallet. It is sitting in two characters' cargo holds in item form.

Interesting. I'm not sure what CCP's plan was for the tokens, since they were so rare to begin with.

At this point you'll probably have to file a support ticket and get a GM to manually credit you.

One more tiny detail for Aurum which has not been mentioned so far: we will be removing Aurum tokens from the game. Many of you might not even know they exist, as you haven’t been able to create them for years, but, there’s still a few around so if you have some get them converted back to Aurum currency before we make the switch to PLEX.

Hmm, back in the day they were selling for 400 to 600 million. Most recent sales though are for 320 to 384 million.
However I can't find any reliable conversion ratio. Most reliable ratio I can find is 1:3500.
Which means if I were to combine them I'd get 1 plex with 500 left over tokens.

However checking Jita shows no sales volume, plenty listed for sale at 360 million. It does not look like any of those are moving.

Edit: Entity is not buying them.

Edit2: the DevBlog listed the offical translation as 1 plex for every 7 aurum, however, that was the old plex.
At this stage I have no idea.

1:7 would be nuPLEX. Old PLEX was 1 unit for 30 days of game time; Aurum wasn't worth anywhere near that much.

Semi-Success. On one character they have been redeemed and 286 plexes were placed in my inventory. Still pending on other character.

So, its the Redeeming system broken or something? Last two log-ins I redeem [item] but it doesnt show in my inventory or anywhere else. It says I've claimed it and "x time to next item".
I was expecting the old info of "redeemed item will be delivered to [place/station/your moms house]" but...

Was it a booster? Those are applied directly to the character.

If you mean something you received in the UI you see before the char selection screen then you have to actually redeem the item to a character afterwards, easiest by using the dedicated redeeming window once you have loaded into the game.

That last one was a booster for sure, not sure what the other(s) where... But still, that seems like a "working-as-intended-bug" to me, especially with no note that explains whats happening. And I dont even know where to check if a booster is in effect, I have completely forgot...

So I logged in yesterday as well, this time I did notice that it says something about it being redeemed and directly used so I blame it on me being bad the times before.
This time I got a skin, for a ship I dont have and apparently I ate that too as it disappeared in to the void.

I honestly still dont understand what the point of a gift is that is instantly used without your control. And if you wait with redeeming it times out in like 14 days anyway.

They are short lived "treats" that you can completely ignore if you don't want them. In completely predictable scenes, however, EVE players will naturally complain that the free stuff isn't good enough.
