Is injecting code for that sort of purpose something CCP frowns upon? Or can even detect?

Contract stuff to Seraphina Amaranth.

Speaking of botting (were we?), how well has the security team stuck to this comittment? I don't recall reading about any more mass bannings, which you really shouldn't if they are doing them regularly.
Have they got the bots running scared, or are they back to giving all the CCP employees hand jobs? The process is designed that way because I don't believe that security is something you unwrap once every 2 months and pat yourself on the back about. What I said a year ago about the subject remains true today in that I believe it to be a continued process. This will be a slow burn and it will be regular. I do need to add to that the fact that these things were turned off for a period of time. As you are all aware the company has gone through a lot of changes in the recent months. Because of this there was a period of time where nobody had responsibility for handling the technology responsible for nuking botters.

Thanks for the tip. Two things I gathered from a quick read: the Unified Inventory fucked up how bots work, and the Mackinaw will be the new all-around favorite ship of botters. No real info on ban hammers, but that's to be expected with the record of open communication from a company like CCP.

AFAIK that's only useful for having different graphics settings per character/account. I've been fine with the 1 install for running 2 or 3 chars at once, and they can of course still have different overviews and UI layouts.
When are the aggro changes due to be implemented and what is the general gist of the latest ideas? A while ago there was a suggestion that ship destruction in lowsec wouldn't reduce your sec status below -2 and so it wouldn't lock you out of highsec. Podkilling would still take you to -10 though. Is this still on the cards?

Sounds like a great change. The odds seems slim to me, though. I have a funny feeling that CCP wants to keep the faction status for Aurum option in play.
