Lusulpher, I read your entire post and I have no idea if you are for or against compulsory voting. To remedy this I read your post another three times and now my brain is made of paste.
(Compulsory voting is interesting. Instead of pandering to the fringes, both parties pander to the center. The more power a party gets the less well defined their policies become.)

Yeah, Australian game retailers are literally made of dicks. In a number of cases it's not Steam's fault, they are contractually obliged not to sell at a lower price than a retail outlet. And as we all know, the Australian game retailers never discount anything ever and regularly sell several-year-old games for $50-80. Also the game market took off over here ten years ago, when you could get about 60 US cents for an AUD, and so people are used to games costing $75-90 dollars as the norm. Now it's nearly 110 US cents to an AUD and the retail outlets have never changed their prices.
I have access to a US credit card, though, so :shrug:.
