Legacy GP coverage is, as expected, fucking awful. The commentators' knowledge of the format is really poor. I wish WotC would do community commentator auditions like they do for Eve AT.

However, monthly London Legacy tournament has now been able to secure full use of the pub we've been using so will be able to host a lot more people and be much less cramped which is cool. Should hopefully get 50+ people for the end of June event.
is that the one that allows full proxy dekcs?
    yes

Ancient cards update: Can't find them. They 100% are not in my attic.

However, they do exist somewhere. I now have a strong suspicion they are in my dads attic where i stored a bunch of Uni/Post-Uni stuff. Might take me a little while to get in there though, sorry chaps.

Indeed. I even know exactly what box they are in, it's just not in my house.

I dunno mate, he voted Tory and spent years watching the Ruskies in berlin. He'd probably think it was a communist invasion or something and murderise you to death.

Any of you guys ever tried the sideboard mapping technique? It's actually pretty handy not just for figuring out optimal sideboard makeup but also to help you quickly figure out what to drop and what to add for each matchup.

Full spoiler for Hour of devastation is up.

The limited format looks quite sweet. Most of the cards are trash tier for constructed, or so most of the reddit population seems to think.

Looking into going to the sealed GP at Liverpool in October, anyone else planning on going?

Dunno if I will go pre release. This block has been a bit wank.

It's happening, no more fun EDH decks for me like troll drawing, elves or werewolves.

I'm putting together a full stax Brago, King Eternal list for max hate.

My mates mostly, they seem to have gone super hard competitive just as I've gone the opposite way with fun, themed decks. So it's time to fight back and maybe when they realise how horrible it is to play against stax they might deescalate the situation.

Yeah, I've got most of the pieces for Alesha Stax but haven't had the heart to put it together properly yet. My normal Alesha deck is pretty good so I'm happy with that so far.

I've got a more competitive deck that I can break out when the table is heading that way but stick with my fun angry omnath elemental tribal or Alesha attack things decks.

Played a sweet grixis control deck at the pre-release.

Had archfiend, nimble obstructionist and kefnets last word as my bombs. Managed to steal two locust gods and a scarab god over the course of the pre-release.

I also won against a deck that had a sandworm convergence planted for 5-6 turns, by using archfiend to make their worms smaller and building up my board. Eventually I drew into a spell that forced my opponent to attack into me, block just enough to stop myself from dying and then killing him on the backswing for the perfect amount of damage.

The only game I lost was to a stupid bomb filled sealed deck that had 3 on colour mythics (oketra, scarab god, indestructible horse) and 2 bomb rares (ammit eternal, bontus last reckoning)

Sealed at least seems to be 3 colors, and very grindy.

Looking forward to seeing what you can do draft wise next week

In Yesterdays 2HG we were 2-0 drop, as had to bail. Below is my deck.

    Jesus

That deck is pretty much fixing, bombs and removal.

I am never that lucky. Didn't open a single mythic in three pre-release pools and 6 reward boosters
