TLDR; What you get when you import lots of brown people into a peaceful white country?

While Varcaus's infantile mentality is quite sad, you won't get a good response telling a guy that his friend is lying to him. You really need some evidence that the cops are using the helis just to make their presence known, because I kind of doubt that they would spend money/get approval for that.

This is a reasonable new concept that has proved worthwhile in reducing street robberies and anti-social behaviour in the Gloucestershire and Avon and Somerset force areas. The aircraft often patrols an area over a given time putting the fear back into criminals and making them aware that their actions are being monitored.

The tactic is fair enough but that's just terrible wording on the website that is crying out to be a headline on some tabloid. They should sack whoever wrote that.

    Touche, Al. Touche.

In retrospect, the idea of the panopticon is hardly new, and the belief that one is being watched is one of the core tools of preventing crime as taught even in psych 101, so I guess it doesn't sound far fetched at all. I stand corrected.

It was not the SWAT team (yes, stockholm has one) that made "the assault", but regular officers who judged that immediate action was required.

Immediately after the shooting a internal investigation was started (cause, you know, police killing people is not the norm).
Thaaats the Sweden I know. Good job, Sweden. You can keep your police.

Unfortunately the Swedish police would never admit to such things on a website or in public.
