So, Zecora is a noble savage because she speaks with a vaguely african accent and has a particular taste when it comes to decor?
Seriously, such particularities can be much more easily explained by cultural differences, which by itself are neither bad nor something undesirable to depict.
In fact i can see nothing which would mark her as a noble savage. Keep in mind that the noble savage usualy needs a whole society of noble savages to contrast visibly with the perceived notion of decadent civilisation ( and perhaps a mighty whitey to show that the white man is still superior...). Such a contrast does simply not exist in the show and i therefore consider the whole Zecora=noble savage idea to be more of a problem of some viewers, who perhaps feel uncomfortable with "the other" in form of a genuinely alien but in no way inferior culture ( because noble savage always implies that the subject is still a savage, no matter how noble ), than with the poor zebra itself

on a final note, i find it fun how feminists tend to project their world view of how "every woman should be like this and we would suck less as a gender" and seems to believe anything contradictory to their view including anything produced anywhere by anybody that can be seen by the next generation of feminists must be destroyed.

I think one would have to look at how they respond to contrarian opinions before making that statement. Just looking at their initial blog doesn't cut it.

hmm .. good point. i wanted to try a rebuttal .. but thinking about it, you're likely right - the whole story arc with the elixier against the bloody joke-plant might resemble the notion of having knowledge about nature by living in harmony with nature ... in some sort of mystical way. but this argument actually gets obliterated by two things - for one fluttershy actually has the ability to live in harmony with nature - which relativizes this aspect *a lot*. secondly zecore doesn't have some mystical knowledge that is lost to the civilized world, as in the end the book with the title 'super naturals' actually doesn't contradict the common knowledge of equestria at all, it just has a misleading title.

i still wouldn't completly abandon this 'noble savage' aspect, but i'll use it with a oiltanker full of salt.

don't make the mistake to think just because an opinion is contradicting something it means it's has actually a valid point. if it is well founded*) and articulated (and brought forward in a non-trollish manner) you certainly won't get shouted away.

sadly most of these 'contradicting opinions' found on the internet in blogs and forums often have the quality of republican budget proposals (when even the arithmetic has allegedly a 'liberal bias')

*) the problem apparently many have is the idea that social science *is* partisan. the positivist notion of science follows the idea that (social) science can be done without being influenced by ideology. this position is highly critisized as assumes the possibility of a scientist to leave him/herself (be it beliefs, desires, or the own biography and socialization) behind. if you look critically at the process of science you'll soon realize that even so mundane questions like 'what's my research object?' become really quick questions of your own positionality. the problem is quite often proponents of 'contradicting opinions' usually expect positivism to be the only 'true' science.
