Fuck, I just realized. I've cleared FoW and UW, but never did do Urgoz. It's a shame the faction PVP events in Factions is pretty much dead. I liked watching the territory lines shift and some of the battle areas.

Not much new to report here. My pre char should reach LDoA sometime this weekend, otherwise mostly just chipping away at Tyrian and Elonian Vanquisher atm. God Tyria is such a drag to get through sometimes.

Double Kurz/Lux this weekend, so between the vanquishing I might also do a little FA as well.

EDIT: Grav Ling has achieved the title Legendary Defender of Ascalon.

Just recently discovered that this game might satisfy my requirements. No retarded "tank, dps, healer" classes, no autoattack but skill based, looks good, no monthly fee. Im usually not into that fantasy stuff anymore(except Diablo3) but it has pistolz and animations look good.

Was actually planning on vanquishing Kessex tonight, so I'll take that quest at the same time and see how I go. Will take my warrior main and probably go 2 curse/resto N/Rts (would normally go full discordway but Verata's Gaze would annoy me), 2 mesmers, 2 spiritway rits and probably an ER prot.

EDIT: done. I chose an N/Mo smite/prot instead of ER, otherwise group was as above. Those bandits have a fuckin' MASSIVE aggro circle, took a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to pull safely. Wiped a couple of times in the process (that's the worst part about Kessex, only one shrine), but got it done in the end and vanquished the area while I was at it. \o/

Kind of a shame they introduced 7 heroes in a way. Since now you'll never need to experience ZM pugs, where monks are the only class ever allowed to heal, and warriors are always required to fit Defy Pain.

Yeah, no shit.

If you're a mesmer, you must run Panic. If you're a rit, you must run SoS. If the party leader invites another rit he'll want to run SoS too, because no pug rit actually knows any other build, and one of them will end up leaving. Necros can only do minions or SS (it works fine with Panic really), eles must be fire nukers. Monks must run UA or HB because they're the best; necros, eles and rits have no place as healers. Sins, dervs and wars are mostly interchangeable, but since wars have the highest base armor, that makes them the best tanks so they ought to be running Defy Pain...

7 heroes might not have been the best thing for the game's health, but it sure as hell was for mine.

Given that they've still not even hinted at an alpha/beta schedule much less anything resembling a release date, making a thread about it might be premature. For now I'm content to watch gameplay videos from gaming expos, and check their news page. Several times a day.
